Early 70's Gems

Don't let the album review fool you. The best song on here is " The Persecution and Restoration of Dean Moriarity (on the Road"). It's great upbeat folk/rock. For a mellower vibe check out "Highway Song".

Great duo - A Gem of an Album

Aztec Two Step's first album is truly a wonderful album. It is their greatest hits. They were ahead of their times. A great duo / a magical time. They were best when you saw them live.

Underrrated Masterpiece

I first heard this in college more years ago than I would like to say. The album grabbed me immdaitely, especially Highway Song. It ranges from the cerebral catchy sound of Persecution, to the melancholy beautiful lyrics of Infidel. The harmonies are tight and imaginative, and the guitar playing is great. The a;bum was produced by Jerry Yester, and I think this is the reason this album has such a distinct sound. If you like Simon and Garfunkle this album is for you.
