Hypnotic and Original

Sparked by the emergence and fast growing online music community, that offer a much easier way to reach listeners, this artist reinvented himself under the alias of State Azure, finally releasing his first album 'Outlines' in December 2011.

"So Long, Eternity" continues where "Outlines" leaves off, offering an eclectic, original and hypnotic soundscape. In this day and age where electronica begins to sound like one continuous drone, State Azure has risen above the clutter and offers his listeners another rich masterpiece.

A chance encounter led to the discovery of this incredible artist and this album. Do not pass it up. Looking forward to the addition of future works from State Azure on iTunes.

Born in 1972 and growing up in the south of England during the electronica-rich, synth-pop Eighties, and inspired by the likes of Jarre, Tangerine Dream and Vangelis, he quickly became adept at studying and reverse-engineering his favourite electronic tracks, so that he could later emulate them, leading to basic understandings of musical theories and production.

He continued to gain experience, becoming a keyboardist for a few live-performing bands during his early years, whom he helped produce original tracks, before moving on to solo ambient/experimental work.
