Two of Australia’s best country songwriters join forces on an album of lighthearted, glass-half-full love songs. It’s the husband-and-wife duo’s first collaborative full-length, and it marries their distinct musical styles: Adam Eckersley’s grit (he fronts the bluesy Adam Eckersley Band) and Brooke McClymont’s flair for pop melodies (she sings in the crossover group The McClymonts). There are songs about the highs (“Glad") and the lows (“Train Wreck”) of love, all woven together by the pair’s harmonic chemistry (“Love on the Loose”).
