Weirdo Lost Classics

Like Solange to Ariel Pink's Beyonce, Soft Hair is some freaky goodness that borders on cheese but ultimately brings it home. To a synthetic polar bear carpet in front of a neon fireplance.

It sounds excactly like the cover picture looks. It sounds like Prince's Around the World in a Day played on a wonky tape deck. It sounds like a vacation wasted afternoon passout fever dream. It sounds like your mom whistling in my shower.

Love this stuff

Great music, though im a little confused as to why a song without music can have an explicit sign next to the song

Anything Connan Mockasin and I'm In

One of my favorite artists exposing me to a new great artist, all the while reminding me why he is on of my favorite artists.

About Soft Hair

Soft Hair is an experimental pop collaboration between New Zealand psych artist Connan Mockasin and British musician Sam Dust, who also records as LA PRIEST. The two first met in 2009 when Dust's former band, Late of the Pier, supported Mockasin on tour. They soon began collaborating in their spare time between developing their own projects, emerging over five years later with a self-titled debut LP under the name Soft Hair. After signing with Weird World Record Co., they released the album in October 2016. ~ Timothy Monger
