From the days of Heartshed til now....

I must say, I've followed these guys for awhile. We played a show together @ the Fat Cat in Modesto, Ca when I sang for Brightside of Darkness. These guys not only sounded amazing but put on a great live show. They were one of the only bands I've ever seen/shared the stage with that actually captivated me. Consider The Thief is poised to take the scene by storm and I plan to have a front row seat to cheer them on as they do it. This EP is strictly amazing. Recommend every single track but favorites are Soldiers and Saints and Between Man and Machine. Keep it up fellas, you have a gift. If I had a label, you'd be signed so fast it would make your head spin...

Can't wait for more but,...

This is an awesome start for this new band! The sound is pretty generic but, awesome nevertheless. If these guys are either going to hit it big or fall into the endless void that is other bands that sound more or less the same. All together good work, I've listened to the entire EP twice now and still love it. Hopefully Consider the Thief will have a more memorable full album released soon and will pick up some more fans along the way.

solid ep

maybe i'm a bit biased because i personally know most of the guys in this band, but i am a big fan of this ep. the sound isn't "generic" at all in my opinion and i think they combine the sounds of some really great bands (thrice, treos, circa, underoath??maybe?) and add their own personal style to make great songs. each song is unique and hits heavy at parts and also has some more spacy parts which don't detract from the song at all. I definitely recommend buying this ep, seeing these guys live, and if you are a record label, signing them.
