iTunes Review

When The Sun Goes Down mixes rootsy John Mellencamp-esque themes of small town America with Caribbean vacation daydreams, nostalgic drinking songs like the humorous "Keg In The Closet," and twangy tear jerkers that touch on the tribulations and triumphs of family life. "There Goes My Life" is a moving song that plays heavy on the heartstrings of anyone who has ever had to eschew their own plans and grow up fast.

Customer Reviews

Nice Job Kenny!

Gotta be one of his better albums. Best songs are: When the Sun Goes Down, I go back, Some people change, and i like the addition of an older song Old Blue Chair

Love it

I love this album a lot! The only thing that bugs me is that Kenny Chesney is getting no credit for the song he sang first "Some People Change". Montgomery Gentry sang it and then they made it a video and #1 song. Kenny's version is way better. But i would have to say that my favorite song on this album would either be "I Go Back" or "Anything But Mine" they are both great songs!!

Always Kenny

I love Kenny. Every song on this album is strong and full of meaning to me. I never leave home without his music. He's by my side always.

Chesney was born in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1968 and raised in the nearby small town of Luttrell, best known as the home of Chet Atkins. He grew up listening to both country and rock & roll, but didn't get serious about music until college,...
