Editors’ Notes

When his promising solo career bottomed out in Los Angeles, vocalist Jordy Towers moved back to his native Ohio, where in a twist of fate he met his future bandmates in SomeKindaWonderful. Building on the success of single "Reverse"—a moody blues-rock track that nods to Phil Spector's Wall of Sound—the band's debut is a feisty mix of soulful rock and ranging R&B. "Cornbread" is a brawny minimalist groove that sounds like Lenny Kravitz by way of The White Stripes, while tracks like "Police" and "Caveman" have a driving electro intensity. Further stirring the stylistic pot is "Devilish Man," which simmers and swings with retro abandon. Based on the promise of this rollicking album, it appears Tomas landed on his feet.

Can't wait

I have been listening to Reverse so often on the radio, I'm super stoked to get this!

Cannot wait

Amazing new band with so much talent!!!! Can't wait for the new album and many, many more to come. Xo

A breath of fresh air

Saw them in concert last night in L.A. and all I can say is absolutely fantastic. Great energy, their sound is amazing and you can tell that these guys and girl love making music. If you like Reverse you’re going to love the entire album. Do yourself a favor and see them live you won’t regret it!! Also it’s great to see that not every song has to be sad. “Shine on me” lifted the entire room off the ground!!
