Sure to Be a Hit!

"Someone" is definitely my fave track off of DHT's album. The lyrics are a lot better and more meaningful than "Listen to Your Heart." I wish the radio would play the original track though...the remix sounds too much like "Listen to Your Heart" and people will probably think DHT isnt capable of producing any other sound. The 5 stars is for the original track..the remixes would get a 4 -- They take away from the beauty of the song.

"Someone" sure to be a hit

"Someone" is worth it to get. It's something nice to listen to after the over-exposed "Listen to your Heart". The lyrics are nice and the beat does remind you of "Listen" when listening to the remixes, but it's definitely something to check out. I just pray that I'm not hearing it 6 months or so from now on the radio.... in that case it won't be worth it.

I liked it.

The Furious edit is ALRIGHT.....I didn't enjoy the synth very well in the middle of the song; it was too monotone/repetitive and gave me a headache. The furious edit is pretty reminiscent of "Listen to Your Heart," by the way the song is structured. The Jan Vervloet, in my opinion, is a lot better than the Furious edit. The Chill out beatz version of the song is my personal favorite and is great if you're someone who likes chill music. Overall, pretty good set of songs. A must buy for any who loved "Listen to Your Heart".

The New York label had previously helmed singles from DJ Sammy ("Heaven") and Lasgo ("Something") to success, and the Belgium-based D.H.T. (singer Edmee Daenen and DJ Da Rick; various producers) featured a similarly propulsive blend of accessible Hi-NRG/Euro-dance rhythms, plaintive female vocals, and progressive house texture. It was D.H.T.'s glossy Roxette...
