This is going to be a Classic MODERN U2 Album

This will be their best album post All That You Can't Leave Behind without a doubt. You're the Best Thing About Me is middle of the road earworm, The album version fo the Blackout is much better than the live version they purposely released with a lot of fan noise in it and now with Get Out of Your Own Way it is confirmed this will be a classic. Experienced & Modern with their now classic post POP sound. Great job! The last of the Rock Stars!

I don't understand

Why can't iTunes put this album in my library for free the way they did for Songs of Innocence?

Big Disappointment

I was expecting this album to be amazing considering the hype of it being the follow up to Innocence. The melodies are mediocre at best and lyrically it is probably their worst album. This is a band that used to blow me away whe they released a new album but honestly they haven't made anything great since HTDAAB in 2005. I hope they don't feature a lot of this album on the upcoming tour because none of these songs have concert appeal. HTDAAB was begging to be heard live but since then they have only provided us with a few great new songs. Time to pack it in boys. I recall Bono once saying one crap album and we're done... well it has been 3 strikes in a row, time to hang up the rock and roll shoes boys. I should have known better after No Line and Songs of Innocence that this album was going to be another dud. I don't think they have another great single left in them. The days of songs like One, Beautiful Day, Original of the Species, Sometimes you can't make it on your own, etc. are OVER and seemingly so are their careers.
