(Typically) FANTASTIC!!!!

It should come as no surprise that this is another terrific collection of remixes considering that A.) Madonna is the Queen of Pop for a reason and B.) "Sorry" happens to be one of her catchiest, edgiest, you-know-it'll-be-around-forever singles this side of the first album! An appropriately high-caliber roster has been drawn up to remix the track, and the results are first-rate. Stuart Price continues to prove he's Madonna's most energetic collaborator since Steve Bray with his "Man with Guitar Mix", and similarly sounding (and similarly awesome) is the Green Velvet mix. Both would have been worth purchasing the maxi-single for. With that having been said, the Oakenfold and PSB mixes draw special attention. The Oakenfold mix is another classic collaboration between the King and Queen of the Millennial Club Floor, arguably besting their terrific work together on the remixes for the "American Life" singles. But it's the long overdue collaboration between Madonna and the Pet Shop Boys that makes the "PSB Maxi-Mix" the real gem of this collection. It's very nearly as exhilarating a pair as Price's genius mash-up of Madonna and disco-era ABBA on the "Hung Up" single and remixes, and at least as good as an original track they could have written together; one DEFINITELY awaits a proper songwriting mergence between M and PSB for the future, but in the meantime, they very nearly improve upon what is itself an instant-classic with their 80s thumps and ghostly background vocals. But the album version reigns supreme. It's as good as "Hung Up", and has so often been pointed out by critics and fans, it's also as good as many original ABBA tracks...without even remotely borrowing from the recordings of the true Gods and Goddesses of Modern Pop, Madonna, with the aid of Stuart Price, has contstructed (again, not surprisingly!) a mini-masterpiece. Thank you Madonna, Enjoy it, America!! :)

This is Her Best Dance Song Since the 1980s. Far better than Hung Up

Madonna is back to pure pop dance with this record. She has proven to be a great ear for pop collaborators and songwriting well into her middle years in life as she was in our younger years. Madonna knows how to make good music: pure and simple. She may not have the best voice but she knows now to make music and this record proves it. This song belongs at #1 on I-Tunes.

Why would she be sorry?

I'm not sure. Because that song is killa. and the remixes are pretty tight too. Especially the Paul Oakenfold track. So I'd buy at least those two.
