Album Review

Rounder's Perfect 10 Series compiles recycled tracks taken from Ted Hawkins' stint with the label from 1982 to 1985. The ten tracks are taken from his albums Watch Your Step and Happy Hour. While the majority of these tunes are Hawkins playing solo, "Bring It on Home Daddy," "Watch Your Step," and "My Last Goodbye" include a backing band. Since most fans will no doubt already own this material, it appears to be marketed to the novice.
