Album Review

98° were the also-rans of the teen pop mania at the turn of the millennium — although they had hits, with three singles making it into the Top Ten — and their lead singer, Nick Lachey, was perhaps best known as the husband of Jessica Simpson (something that their MTV reality series Newlyweds was unlikely to change). Lachey debuted as a solo artist with SoulO, and preferred to stick with the sound of 98° rather than stretch himself. Lachey has a pleasant enough voice and does a little better on sprightly pop tunes like "Could You Love" than he does on ballads. Overall, the record is an apt companion to Simpson's In This Skin.

Go Nick!

This ablum is good. The song, I like is Edge of Eternity. The rest of the songs are great too. I hope you people out there don't esitimate him as his SoulO career. He did his best and is looking forward to his new album and new life. Go Nick Lachey!!!!!!!

Definately from the Soul...

Nobody can deny that he has an amazing voice. This cd is for anyone that wants to listen to romantic songs from a romantic guy.

This is such a great album...

When I thought that Nick Lachey was going solo... I was suprised! I listened to his album and I thought that it was one of the best pieces of music I've ever listened to!!! My favorite is On & On

Fronting the vocal group was the svelte charmer Nick Lachey. This onetime sports medicine major was a bona fide star thanks to his sensitive performance style, thus a career in Hollywood seemed destined for Lachey. Born Nicholas Scott Lachey on the border of Kentucky and Tennessee in fall 1973, he...
