Great album

This is dondero's first release on conor oberst's(of bright eyes fame) label "team love" and I have to say, it's simply amazing! From songs about the side you don't see of Florida(south of the south) to songs about letting the past go in a blaze of smoke (journal burning party) to songs about cheating (you shouldn't leave a lover alone to long) to songs about trying to hide out in a casino (laying low in Eli, Nevada). All in all, just like all his other albums, its great!

Love this album

I have to say that all the songs on this album are excellent - they are well-written, well-played, and powerful. I really enjoy listening to this album all the time.

Very Good

The title track is excellent and the album is solid all around.

The year 2001 saw the release of his solo effort Shooting at the Sun With a Water Gun, an album in which Dondero assumes the role of different characters for nearly each song...
