Album Review

The debut solo long-player from Sugarland's Kristian Bush finds the Tennessee-based singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer striking out on his own with a 12-song set of homespun modern country with a Southern rock edge. The Streamsound-issued Southern Gravity includes the hit single "Trailer Hitch," a breezy, country-clever, upbeat heartland pop treatise on the old adage "You can't take it with you when you go" that muses "I've never seen a hearse with a trailer hitch."

Great Songwriter!

Trailer Hitch is an awesome song that will hopefully kick off a great debut album for Kristian Bush. However, to anyone who claims that he owes ANY part of his fame to Jennifer Nettles, I would argue that Jennifer owes her fame to him. When they were together as Sugarland, Kristian wrote the vast majority of their songs. Just about every hit they released was penned by Bush. Sugarland and Jennifer Nettles would be completely different, for better or worse, without Bush. It takes two to make a duo.

Southern Gravity!

I have heard almost all the songs on this new record because I went to four of his shows last year. This album is FANtastic and contains many hits.Country music at it's best!

So far so good!!

The single "trailer hitch" was a really catchy song and now I'm ready for some new music from this guy!!
