Great band

Just heard them interviewed on Talking Metal. Great interview. Cool to hear a great woman singer in rock.

Fantastic, but not perfect

Here is example of emerging music that needs to be heard more often. Frankly, I cannot remember how I found this album. LEts hope this band can earn some more attention. Following in the steps of older funk rockers like the Red Hot Chili Peppers or Spin Doctors, the group Infernophonic excels at merging funky, rap-like vocals with some satisfyingly heavy guitar rifts that seem to walk on the line between metal and fast, hard blues and like a tight rope. Perhaps its that I just have a soft spot for female vocalists who can belt out their lyrics and seemingly overpower the guitars. Perhaps I just enjoy guitars that provide a counter-melody during verses that could stand alone as solos. Whatever it is that Infernophonic has managed to do create a unique, powerful, likable sound, it worked. Of course, the album has some flaws. The songs tend to sound a bit the same. The other major flaw is in the lyrics. Many lines are so trite and carry such an overt message so painfully literal that listers my find themselves rolling their eyes. Best songs are Karmakaza, Yeah Yeah Yeah, and Invisible Slaves.

great songs

This is a great album that has a graet fusion of different sounds and vocals are great. Eye of the jedi is the BEST!!!!!!!
