Worth the money

I got the EP last night a little before midnight and when I heard the intro my heart went into overdrive. Each song has a jamming vibe and the last song Phoenix blew my mind. I always knew Alex could sing a balled, but the feeling is his voice made me tear up. On all of the songs you can hear Toby's voice as the back up and I think most fans will agree with me when I say, he sounds amazing. Dylan's drums are rocking, Toby and Mike's guitar cords are in your face, David's bass lines are slamming and Alex's lyrics are catchy. I love the EP in a whole and I would buy it again and again if I could afford it. These guys did an amazing job with this EP and I'm proud of them.

Worth every penny

This is, by far, the best sounding music they have ever released! I also think that as a concept EP it is very thought provoking.

Formed: 2002 in Portland, ME

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '00s

Originally known as Pozer, Sparks the Rescue garnered acclaim in the mid-aughts with their energetic, super-melodic brand of emo-ish punk-pop. The Portland, Maine-based quintet matched driving Blink 182-style guitar rock with the wailing, British-sounding vocals of lead singer Alex Roy to deliver a sound that is at once noisy and bubblegum sweet.
