def not the most talented band out their but good vocals, kind of reminds of fred durst from a lyrical aspect no offense. solar flare homicide's one of the standout tracks. " I SEE YOUR FIRE IN THE SKY"!!!!!! :)P

Speaker of Emmure

Why do people hate on Emmure? Because of their lyrics & sound? At least they're being themselves and get the guts to be different. Speaker of the Dead is epic. Area 64 - 66 is the best song on here. Hope you like this album! :)

A collection of sick breakdowns, but really nothing more

Yeah the breakdowns are sick, but they don't feel like songs, and after a while, I just wanted more substance than some "brOOtal" breakdowns. Plus, Words of Intulo is an obvious ripoff of The Acacia Strain's Tactical Nuke. Just saying. =P

New Fairfield, CT-based metal quintet Emmure specialize in an emotionally brutal blend of blistering hardcore and punishing thrash that has drawn favorable comparisons to acts like the Acacia Strain and From a Second Story Window. The group, consisting of singer Frank Palmeri, drummer Joe Lionetti, guitar players Ben Lionetti and Jesse Ketive, and bassist Mark Davis, released its debut, Goodbye to the Gallows, on Victory Records in 2007.
