Bass in front of very creative music!

Doug Wimbish = the memorable bass lines for the Sugar Hill Gang + the Fabulous band "Tack Head" & on to Living Colour!.
HIs solo Albums are very enique indeed, pulsating, funky, ambient, spacial and quite groovy. He is a bass player who does not shy away from effects as in effects pedals, studio and rack gear and he uses them oh so well. He was featured in Bass Player Magazine sometime in the early 90's and played and recorded with the likes of Carly Simon. His playing style is his own.. very original... up front in your face bass, and some! Check him out!!!
