iTunes Review

It's not often you hear the words "storytelling" and "dance album" in the same breath. Yet with Dirty South's Speed of Life, that's exactly what you get. The Serbian-Australian DJ combines elements of electronica and progressive house to build a complete package that exceeds the sum of its parts. "Gods" is a well-chosen intro track, building momentum slowly before adding soothing vocals from Ruben Haze, an artist previously featured on Dirty South and Alesso's release "Years." Fans of Dirty South's progressive, big-room productions will be drawn to “Until the End” and “Your Heart,” featuring vocals from Joe Gil. Electronic music purists, however, will be pleased with the gritty synth loops on "Super Sounds" and "Reset." The title track combines sounds found throughout the rest of the album, reminding you of the journey you've just completed. With this kind of vision and production ability, Dirty South’s future is bright.

Huge dirty south/house fan

Idk how I feel about it... its decent but for an album I was hoping for something spectacular and this just isnt it. Nothing here eclipses any of his previous work.

Dirty South premieres excellence

This album is phenomenal. That's all I can say worth the anticipation.

WOW ...

This is Dirty South's first album and I have to say it is just AMAZING!! It's masterpiece in the progressive house genre <3

He first began making bootleg remixes of dance tracks with only a tape deck, a mixer, and a splicer at his disposal, but in 2004 he bought his first laptop computer and Dirty South was born. The Vicious Vinyl label would issue his debut single,...
