If Doom Be Thy Name, Thy Name Must Be Candlemass

What Else Can I Say, Candlemass Still Has It, While This Is No "Epicus Doomicus Metallicus" Of Night Fall, it is Pure Traditinal Doom At It's Finest. If You Are Even Remotely Intrested in Doom, You Surely Must Have Heard Of Canlemas, "Epicus Doomicus Metallicus" Is Widly Recognize As The First Doom ( Not Proto-Doom Such As Black Sabbath Or Pentagram, But Real Doom) Album Ever If You Have Never Heard Of Candlemass befor and are curious, i would recomend Nightfall Or Epicus Doomicus Metallicus Over This, But If You Are A candlemass Fan ( First Album With Messiah Marcolin in 16 years) Check This Out, they still prove they are the gods of Doom.

Candlemass Rules...

Beside the silly subject matter, of which most fans do not take seriously, this is truly a genius return for Doom Metal and the Messiah. I hope Robert Lowe of Solitude Aeturnus will be able to pull off being a fitting successor to this classic album. Candlemass Rules the Doom Domain... Peace in God...

One of my favorite albums of all time. The Night and the Day, Seven Silver Keys, Witches and Black Dwarf will be regulars on my ipod until death do us part.

After the breakup of his first band, Nemesis, in 1985, bassist Leif Edling founded Candlemass with vocalist Johan Lanquist, guitarist Mats Bjorkman, and drummer Matz Ekstroem. Their watershed debut, Epicus Doomicus Metallicus, was...
