John in Kabul ,

catches disrespect - that's bull

Some pro reviewers cut on this album because it has many re-released songs.
Pee on 'em.
"Sleeper Coach Driver" more than makes up for that. Bob Wills would have been proud to have cooked up thiis one - it's old-time country story telling with a zydeco-influenced rockabilly beat. It is off-the-scale creative, and you will be whistling the tune at work. "Hurts Your Daddy Bad" is disturbing, which is exactly the point, it being a powerful cautionary tale.
The Rev may have between long-term recording business arrangments for this album, but he was definitely all there musically!
