A hurried follow up to "Boys In The Trees"?

Boys In The Trees from 1978 is arguably my favorite Carly album. It sold really well (it reached the top 10 and went platinum). Spy came out the next year and didn't do nearly as well, even though there are some good songs here. Vengeance was the only single released and it rocks pretty hard by Carly standards, but wasn't a big hit. I think Just Like You Do would have made a good single, and that We're So Close is probably one of the best songs Carly has ever written - give a listen to those lyrics and how lonely the woman in the song is despite how much the man assures her of how solid their love is. The rest of the songs aren't really up to the standards of her best work. The song Spy, though not great, is Carly doing some light disco - it's a time capsule of the time. Download the first four songs and Spy to add to your Carly playlist.
