Accept with Mark Tornillo: 3 for 3

If you liked Blood of the Nations and Stalingrad, there's nothing to think about. You will love this album. If you didn't, well, you just don't get it. This is what heavy metal is SUPPOSED to sound like. Better than most bands, Accept has combined the old with the new, thanks to Wolf Hoffman's ingenious riffing and technique, Tornillo's roaring vocals, and Andy Sneap's crisp production. Blind Rage in particular hearkens back to Balls to the Wall and Metal Heart with old-school riffs and chanting choruses. It's definitely a darker and more serious album than the last two, but that's by no means a drawback. The anger and power is still there, in every track. As for individual songs, I would recommend "Dying Breed", "Bloodbath Mastermind", "Stampede", and "Dark Side of My Heart", but the whole album is great.

Thank you for remaining true

Udo has his place in Heay Metal, and now both Accept and U.D.O. in 2014 are still giving us the riffs and sound we want. All the best to Stephan Kaufmann that he remain in music,, even though he doesn't record anymore. As for Wolf, G-d bless you.......and why the hell doesn't Peter sing for us anymore. Always thought your songs were the surprise on the discs.

Can't wait!

I have enjoyed the last two albums and cannot wait for this one. Accept has been my favorite band for quite sometime now. Rock on!!

With their brutal, simple riffs and aggressive, fast tempos, Accept were one of the top metal bands of the early '80s, and a major influence on the development of thrash. Led by the unique vocal stylings of screeching banshee Udo Dirkschneider, the band forged an instantly recognizable sound and was notorious as one of the decade's fiercest live acts. Despite recording two of the best heavy metal albums of the decade in Restless & Wild and Balls to the Wall, Accept remained too heavy and extreme...
