A Treasure Chest

If you like WP, you will love this. it is four discs worth of great music. Sort of an anthology, with some live cuts, new songs, alternative versions of favorites, etc. This came out as deluxe CD box set in 2012 with an interesting notebook format. That is missing in the iTunes version, but no worries, the songs are the real gems. The two versions of Ship of Fools are both different, and both great, BTW. Not a bad song on the set, IMHO.

World Party began as an outlet for the pop infatuations of vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Karl Wallinger, previously best known for his tenure with the Waterboys. Born October 19, 1957, in Prestatyn, Wales, Wallinger grew up enamored not only of the Beatles but also of the Motown and Merseybeat sounds, and made his professional debut in 1976 as a member of the group Quasimodo.
