iTunes Review

Composer John Williams adeptly leads the London Symphony Orchestra through evocative and challenging new themes for the final installment of the original Star Wars trilogy. Celebrating new characters and old alike, the score features clattering tribal percussion and pan-flute compositions for the jungle-dwelling Ewoks, soft and sympathetic tones for "Luke and Leia," and nearly Stockhausen-like atonal explosions in the thundering "Bounty for a Wookiee." With Williams stretching himself even further than before, this score aptly captures the glorious diversity of a galaxy far, far away.

I Love this movie so much! Its an instant classic between good and evil. I've watched this movie so many times and and i still cry when Darth Vader dies! Its so sad because no matter how evil Darth Vader was Luke found the good in him. I still think the Empire should of won but oh well The Emperor was killed and that made me happy because i hated him!! I wish Victory Celebration was not an (Album Only) song. Other than that this is an amazing album to one of the best movies ever!

What happened to the original ending song? The awesome tribal-ewok song that George Lucas replaced when they went back and changed everything? To me, that was the worst decision of all of the "improvements". That song was probably my favorite from all of the movies. The only place I find it is the battlefront 2 video game. BOO!!!!! BOOOOO!!!!!

Don't buy on iTunes

This is a great album for fans and non-fans alike, but if you do buy it get it in a store. When you buy the CD you get three bonus tracks and an alternate version of Sail Barge Assault.
