Bookended by two titanic but very different Daft Punk collaborations, it’s a listening experience that, from start to finish, speaks to the Toronto native’s mastery of both melody and mood. “It’s good to have darkness,” he told Beats 1’s Zane Lowe. “Because when the light comes, it feels that much better.”

From vocals to production Abel is yet to let me down
Disappointed
I'm really disappointed into what The Weeknd is becoming. All the songs lately are so poppy, just trying to please a bigger majority of people. His music was so much better during trilogy and kiss land when it was darker about the drugs and hoes. Wish he would have stayed true to how his music started.
