Zedd is an amazing artist. And if you think he's just some kid who got lucky on his laptop, you are mistaken. His skills on the piano (I think he plays other instruments, idk) are amazing. His production skills are superb. If you like this, then go take a gander at this album: Clarity.
Matthew Koma, Foxes, Miriam Bryant, and Jessica Sanchez all do a wonderful job on this! However, I do wish Zedd could've worked with Liz on Hourglass.
But buy this if you haven't given Zedd a chance yet!
This guy knows musical structure
he's said it a thousand times, but his music really is timeless. using the same great techniques that composers have perfected over the centuries, he writes music that everyone can appreciate. He loves electronic music, as do I, but these variations just emphasize how great the real music is. He's not just some big dance party, anthem, producer. To me this EP is a great representation of that. Thanks Anton
Zedd is beautiful stripped
Incredible. A must listen!
