Customer Reviews

i wish i got this when it was released in 2004

first off, i have to say that jeff was my favorite member of 98 degrees - i always thought his voice had more to it than nick lachey's (and i couldn't see why girls were into nick when jeff was the hottie with the voice in my opinion). but that said, onto the review. i was listening to this in my car (about the only time i have nowadays to listen to any music) and i was definitely impressed with it, although a word of caution to any 98 degrees fan - there's not a whole lot of uptempo songs here. we're talking mid-tempos and ballads. which is ok, because, well, his voice is definitely suited to seduce or to mourn lost loves. i really have no complaints about this album. it's definitely something to play when driving or at home (or at work if you can get away with listening to your iPod at work). granted, you're not going to be hearing this in the clubs, but that's ok - i think i'd rather spend time with jeff alone instead of with others in a club. *lol* =) oh, and btw, can't wait for his group SureShot to come out with an album! heard the 3 tracks on line and they're hot. and jeff sounds great on all three!

Great CD from a real talent!

I have to say this puts Nick Lachey's debut solo CD to shame. The writing is really current and Jeff shows why he deserves to be a solo artist. The title track is excellent. Reading about this CD, I found out that Jeff not only wrote but produced the CD himself after Universal cast him aside for Nick Lachey's unfortunate debut disc. Universal should have thought twice. Jeff's a talent we should see more off.

oh my..

Jeff, it's time to put the 'bubble gum' music behind you; if you still like this genre, try more grown up torch-style songs. Regardless, you are maturing and you music needs to reflect that growth. Otherwise any conversation about you is going to start, "Hey, whatever happened to......"
