Customer Reviews

I love this album. If you like them to cheack out Dream Evil "Dragon Slayer" Many Many Many resebalace. My favoite songs on it is "The Chosen Ones" and "Heavy Metal in the Night" Seirously Check them out

This album took some getting used to because I got into Firewind because of Allegiance and Stephen Fredrick's voice is very different than Apollo Papathanasio's. I thought The Fire and The Fury was the most overrated song ever and the only songs I really liked were Immortal Lives Young and Brother's Keeper. Well finally this album grew on me and I started enjoying it just as much as their newer stuff, though there are a couple songs that aren't that great. I love how it just never gets old, unlike most of The Premonition did. I love Waiting Still, Steal Them Blind, The Fire and the Fury, I am the Anger, You Have Survived, and the two songs I already mentioned, which are still probably my favorites. Burning Earth sounds really cool at the beginning and The Longest Day has good lyrics that actually mean something, so I think you should just get the whole album and see for yourself which songs you like the most because with Firewind everyone seems to have their own opinion on which songs are the best. I also love the lyrics in Waiting Still cuz I can really relate to it, and I Am the Anger has pretty sweet lyrics too. ("I have been to hell. I've touched the sun. I've seen heavens fall. I am the one.") Burning Earth and You Have Survived also have cool lyrics because sometimes I feel like that's what this world is like. Serously this album has awesome lyrics they're not as cool anymore. Well anyway keep up the good work Firewind I can't wait for your new album!

great metal

this album is great if you love metal. The Fire and The Fury is insane for Gus G. and the guys

Formed: Thessaloniki, Greece

Genre: Metal

Years Active: '00s

Yet another power metal ensemble showcasing the widely acknowledged and always in-demand talents of Greek guitar hero Gus G. (whose real name is Kostas Karamitroudis, and whose other credits include Dream Evil and Mystic Prophecy, among countless guest spots), Firewind blurs the lines between serious band and casual side project with its fluid multinational membership and surprisingly busy musical output. The latter has been represented by dependably yearly releases such as Between Heaven and Hell...
