One of the best records of the '80s

With a decade filled with bad albums, this easily stands out as one the '80s best records. The uniqueness of the 2 singers voices and the driving pulse of the band make it stand out. The whole album is great, but some standout tracks are "Say You Will", "That's All", "Lookin' For Me Somewhere" and "Still The Night".

This is their first and best: pure, unbridled rock and roll, delivered without the slightest whiff of pretense or self-conciousness. Would that we could say the same of their many subsequent releases, all of which try too hard to update their sound. They never came close to topping this one. (Sharply produced, as always, by T-Bone Burnett).

Yep, one of the very best of the 80s

Integrity oozes from this record. That, catchy melodies, the unique vocal combination, and the roots-rock feeling of this record make it one of the very best the 80s had to offer. A true masterpiece. My personal favorite tracks: Fadeaway, Misery, The Strangest Kind, and Still the Night.

Although based in Waukesha, Wisconsin, the BoDeans began building an audience...
