iTunes Review

The Spice Girls’ second album zig-a-zig-ahhs with even more bite than their debut, boasting bigger hooks, richer harmonies, and more confidence. The Girls salute positivity on the slinky, samba-fueled "Spice Up Your Life," while the peppy "Stop" apes '60s girl groups and "Never Give Up on the Good Times" delves into the sparkling string vamps of '70s disco. On "Move Over," meanwhile, they call out to "generation next": Like the rest of the album, it's a statement of purpose that doubles as dance-floor manifesto.

Up beat nostalgic awesomeness

Why this has no ratings is beyond me. Way to slack off 90's kids. This is up beat, positive ear candy to unabashedly shake your booty to. Reminisce in fond memories of girl power, platform shoes and Sporty Spice's superior vocal rang. What are you waiting for? Download it, NOW.

SPICE GIRLS

I will never forget these ladies. One of the best things to happen during my childhood.

Girl Power ✌️

As a 90's kid! I grew up listening to them, and have very fond memories with these songs! I wish they would had never stop making music. Girl Power Rules!

Spice Girls used dance-pop as a musical base, but they infused the music with a fiercely independent, feminist stance that was equal parts Madonna, post-riot grrrl alternative rock feminism, and a co-opting...
