EDITORS’ NOTES

On Strength in Numbers, Swedish death-thrash vets The Haunted have recaptured the peak performance of their late-'90s genesis. Their ninth album overall, this is their second since original vocalist Marco Aro returned in 2013. Fans of Pantera and Meshuggah will revel in the serrated riffing and hard grooves of “Tighten the Noose” and “This Is the End,” while guitarists Patrik Jensen and Ola Englund bring a more melodic touch to tracks like “Spark” and instrumental intro “Fill the Darkness with Black.”

Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics.

I Mean.....It's THE HAUNTED!

In my NOT so Uneducated opinion, No Band brings the riffs, the brutality, or the melody like THE HAUNTED! Obviously, Ola has gotten more imput on this record and that hasn't done anything but make them stronger. My little brother turned me on to this band, many, many years ago, and even though he is no longer with us, their music keeps him with me.
