About elodieO

Based in New York City, elodieO is a French electro-pop singer, songwriter, arranger, and musician. Born Elodie Ozanne in Paris, France, she moved to New York City on scholarship in 1996. A year later she founded the trip-hop duo Elm with Manuel Bienvenu, who was based in Paris. Despite the ocean-length distance between the two, they managed to collaborate on two full-length albums (Elm, 1998; Sunny Scenics, 2002) along with several compilation contributions. After the dissolution of Elm, elodieO embarked on a solo career, releasing a ten-track self-titled album in 2004 (later reissued as a six-track EP in 2006). The full-length album Stubborn followed in 2008. ~ Jason Birchmeier
