Customer Reviews

I own every album Isaiah Stewart has ever released and I am a huge fan!

For my money, "Groove Garden" is his slickest and most memorable album to date. The music and grooves have never been deeper or funkier. The musical hooks are also his best ever. In addition, his drumming is at an all-time high, and there's much more overall diversity on this album.

For the first time ever Isaiah features vocals - two really great R&B tracks with an amazing singer. Throughout the album, he really seems to go much deeper with the soul, jazz, rock, funk, fusion, and tribal music . . . even exploring flamenco and classical.

The album also features a line-up of really great guest musicians who really tear it up! One thing about Isaiah. There really are no artists like him. His music is very unique and totally his own (in a great way). The more you listen, the better it gets. It seems there's always something that you didn't hear before.

I've been listening to "Groove Garden" non-stop on my iPod, and my fave tracks are "Power Funk," "Fake It," "Nights in Rio," "Soleado," "Earth Dance," and "Trash Talk."

It's been five years since his last album "Urban Playground" and it's always a pleasant surprise to see that he's recorded and released a new one! And what a "new one" it is . . . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
