YAY[:

I loved Saving Jane ever since I heard Girl Next Door, really. It's not long, but she has talent. I wish more people would listen to her, because she's better than 98% of the 'artists' out there who think they have talent. [:

WOW

She really can sing and i really like her cd, but my favorite song on here would have to be "super girl", i cant get it out of my head.

Captivating. Addictive. Perfection.

I'll admit, I fell in love with "Girl Next Door" when it came out. I just happened to see this on the new releases on iTunes, listened to a sampling of each song, and decided to go for it and bought the whole album. It didn't disappoint. My favourite tracks on the album have to be Nicotine, What I Didn't Say, and Writing on the Wall. The first is gripping to the very core, while the latter two are made for radio singles. It's not even a matter of single POTENTIAL. They just ARE singles. Better Day, From the Sky, Say Please, and Let Me Down Easy are probably my middle ground songs. I like them a LOT. "Better Day" is reminiscent of Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn," but despite it's familar sound the song holds its own. The intro to "From the Sky" immediately captures your attention. Say Please and Let Me Down Easy are reminiscent of each other, actually, but both songs are catchy. One Girl Revolution is the first single, and you've got Nascar's top female racer promoting SuperGirl. I can understand why these, and songs like "Far from Home" and "Ohio" are considered the most relatable on the album, but they're also probably the simplest. They lack the depth and raw emotion that the other aforemention songs have. On the whole, it's definitely worth the buy. I've had it for about a month now and have been pretty much listening to it non-stop.

What started out as simply a campfire song between strangers soon turned into a musical connection in the form of the Columbus, OH-based alternative pop/rock group Saving Jane. It was at this bonfire that vocalist Marti Dodson (then a junior at Ohio State University) and rhythm guitarist Pat Buzzard first met and subsequently became friends. The pair began writing songs together and when the time came to record their work, local drummer Dak Goodman was recruited to help. The trio found something...
