Enough Already

If this is Ashanti's come back song, she just set her self back further. And enough already with all the female R&B singers singing about their booty's, or how to shake it, drop it, etc, etc. Can someone just sing a @#$% song?

Switch-Ashanti

Ashanti's first single off of her upcoming album, The Declaration expected to be released October 23rd. Features production from L.T. Hutton (Pac's Life), Polow Da Don, Jermaine Dupri, The Neptunes, Babyface, Dr. Dre, Swizz Beatz and more. Production was decent not too lively, as Ashanti sings with some attitude. She talks about different heels that she wears, the hook is pretty catchy with Nelly assisting. Her new album, she wanted full control and it looks like she has it as evidenced in this track. Instead of her smooth ballads, we get an uptempo track with some attitude. A solid single that increases anticipation for the album.

Garbage - Ashanti should have stayed out of the spotlight

This song is bad - the beat is over produced and she is trying to hard. Talking about being HOT & SEXY in heels - that's not her style and to be you're 1st single after you've been missing from the scene. It's a bad move.

Ashanti built her reputation with duets, where she would complement an already popular rapper — Ja Rule ("Always on Time"), Fat Joe ("What's Luv?"), the Notorious B.I.G. ("Unfoolish") — contrasting the tough-guy male perspective with her own. It didn't take...
