Great Collaboration!

It really isn’t “Snarky Puppy with strings” and the album comes off just as Michael League says - it is one big ensemble. Some of the best music making I’ve ever heard. I heard ML talk about the album during a film screening in Denton, TX, and he made a comment that blew me away: He actually demoed each individual part for the SP players to learn by ear! This was to keep them from having any sort of relationship with the written page while making music. Absolutely incredible! Highly, highly recommended!

Masterpiece

Lucky enough to be in London right now and took a train to see their opening concert with the Metropole Orkest in Rotterdam. One of the most original, innovative albums I have heard in a long time. I am a bit biased in that I love Snarky Puppy and the Metropole Orkest but Michael League and company outdid themselves this time. The man is a genius. I do not forsee this album getting old anytime soon...or ever for that matter.
