An Overlooked Classic I Return To Again and Again

Not all harp music is created equal. Paul Baker managed to create a clear, chakra/color tuned album that you can put on in the background while it gently, sonically clears the air. It's wonderful and powerful without being too cloying or sugary or over-processed. Put it on a low volume and let it work its magic on you and your environment. I cannot believe I am the first person reviewing this treasure. I've owned it for over a decade and return to it again and again. Great for computer work, meditation, massage, relaxation.

Tranquil, calming, beautiful

I love this music, my wife loves it, my pets love it. When you need a moment's peace, the beautiful sounds of the harp will take you away from stress and leave you in a better place.

Instant Deep Relaxation, aka, Musical Xanax

I don’t mean to demean the sheer genius and calming and healing energetics deliberately interwoven into this beautiful masterpiece, but I have used this CD and others of Paul Baker’s to get me through some rough days when life just hands you lemons sometimes. It is so clean and pure and soothing to the nervous system. It is also perfect when you want to create a calming atmosphere without any sounds that are distracting. His CDs are the only ones I can listen to when I need to concentrate on what I am doing. It’s like an instant move into Dr. Herbert Benson of Harvard’s “Relaxation Response” who is quoted as saying, "The relaxation response is a physical state of deep rest that changes the physical and emotional responses to stress... and the opposite of the fight or flight response.” I am so grateful to Paul Baker for having shared his gifts with us in such an effective, as well as musically gifted way.
