Customer Reviews

Thinking of buying this album? Read this first:

OK. I bought this album with the expectation these were T. Graham's original hits. After listening to a song or two, I found out these songs are re-recordings of his original hits. It's by Sony, so how could this be?

The answer, after doing your homework, is simple. T. Graham Brown recorded all of his hits for Capitol. Instead of trying to license his songs for their hits package, in 1995, Sony just chose to get these re-recordings of his hits onto one album. They are not labeled as such, but there are some changes that can be heard to hits like "Hell Or High Water". I'm sure these changes won't affect the enjoyment of his fans, but they aren't what I banked on when I bought the album after hearing a few of his songs on the radio.

So, buyer beware: these are not the hits you know from the radio, and this time, it's Sony making the mistake of passing off re-recordings as the authentic hits. That is NOT the case here. Buy at your own risk if you like the hits as you remember them from the radio.

He then joined the outlaw country band Reo Diamond, and retooled his image as a hairy, tattooed wildman in a ten-gallon hat. Moving on in 1979, Brown formed...
