I find this to be a magnificent work of art, far removed from the standard and overblown hyperbole of most neo-prog, retro-prog or third-wave-prog bands. The only thing that I can compare this to is King Crimson's magnum opus "In the Court of the Crimson KIng." The entire Water Road offers the listener that same sort of ethereal and arcadian beauty. Hearing this album is refreshing to the soul and a delight for the ears.
If there were more than five stars to award it, The Water Road has earned them.
