Purely Amazing

This album ate my face.

Going slightly back to their roots... Very good!!

Tagtgren and company release yet another album, and it is great! They're definitely going back to their older sound a bit, which makes sense due to the recent departure of the second guitarist. Unlike Virus, their last album, it doesn't have quite the same "attack" approach. When you listen to Virus, it's right in your face. This is a lot darker, if that makes any sense. This album still has all the catchy "futuristic" riffs and choruses that Hypocrisy is famous for though, and should definitely be checked out by any fan of these guys. If you like any or all of their older stuff, then you'll definitely dig this album. Highly recommended!!

Again and Again...

...Hypocrisy continues to put out wonderful albums. Some of the stuff on this disc does hearken back to the "Old School" Hypocrisy, in speed and in atmosphere. Despite lineup changes and Peter's other band Pain, Hypocrisy continue to put out creative and super intense albums. This album is a lot darker than VIRUS, in my opinion. Those that have enjoyed Hypocrisy's last 5 albums will have nothing to complain about here. Those new to Hypocrisy can easily start with Divinity and work their way back through the catalog of one of the best metal bands out there today.

Hypocrisy's first demo was recorded entirely by Tägtgren himself; once it secured him a record deal, he recruited a lineup of Masse Broberg (vocals), Jonas Österberg (guitar), Mikael Hedlund (bass), and Lars Szöke (drums), while he himself settled on guitar....
