Bad singing and Lyrics? I think Not.

Mr. Moony did it again! Alex Carpenter (Singer/songwriter) formed the best wrock group (I) have ever heard. He managed to take Harry Potter and transcribe it into fun (Sometimes sad) music that all potter fans will adore. Songs: 1-5 rating Wizard Rock Twist~ reminds you kindly of 'Dance like a Hippogriff' from GOF but fun and upbeat att the same 3 The Weasley's~ If you love the Weasley's you'll love this song. ^__^ 4 Young Sirius Blacks Flying Motorcycle~ It depends on how you take this song. I took it as a 'girlfriend' telling Sirius she didn't want to go on the bike. But a nice song none the less 4 By Your Side~ A Nice little song 3 Don't Fear the Word~ Remus is singing that you can't have 'fear of a name' and as a listener I liked this song, as a Potter fan I Loved it 4 Alone of Valentine's Day~ THE BEST SONG (In my opinion) on this album. it gets a 5 for capturing the mood, having great notes, and over all a job well done. The Order~ Really witty, starts out with a joke on Remus and Tonks, you have to listen well to catch it. The songwriter did a swell job with this song 5 Teenage Werewolf~ Song title of Album. Gets a 5 for staying in character, singing REALLY well and keeping me interested. ^__^ Fate of Snape~ only 4 stars unlike the five most would feel it deserves. I felt slightly bored with this song. Though it was the only song on the album that bored me. Proud~ If this doesn't make you cry at least a bit you are not human. A 5 because The Remus Lupin's were able to capture everything Remus Lupin himself ever felt. A clap on the back to Alex Carpenter. Wizarding World at War~ another song that gets the point of the 7th book across quite nicely. 4 Final Breath~ 3, an excellent song that you can just listen to without skipping. Maybe Tomorrow~ The only song on the whole CD that was kinda confusing. I give it a four because of great lyrics, but it was hard to figure out where the story in the song was coming from. Beyond the veil~ Nice, Sweet, and too the point. Sirius Black Fans will LOVE this song. This song gets a 4 and 1/2 Rita Skeeter~ ahahaha. What do you think? 3 Give up the Ghost~ Upbeatish song didn't really capture my interest. 3 For All The Hufflepuffs~ Because everyone knows they don't get much glory. 4 The Victory Party~ Another that didn't really capture my interest, 3 and 1/2 The Marauders Map~ The Remus Lupins Stay true to their Character by singing this last song about The Marauders Map. Very catchy, a bit annoying after they keep repeating "I Solemnly swear that I am up to no good" a thousand times but the added Chorus makes it all the better. 4 and 1/2 So yeah. Hopefully that helped, I suggest buying the whole album but if you’re on budget at least download: Alone on Valentine’s Day, The Order, Teenage Werewolf, Proud, And Beyond the Veil. WIZARD ROCK FOREVER!

Wizard Rock at it's best.

I know some people who only like The Remus Lupins because Alex C. is a "hottie." Nothing could be further from the truth. With catchy tunes, a stellar voice, and a jazzy sound. You siriusly have to love this band. They are one of the bands who sound just as awesome on their CD as they do live!

one of the best wizard rock bands out there

this was my first wizard rock cd and by far the best, in my opinion. alone on valentine's day, the weasleys, and teenage werewolf the real standouts on the cd. if you ever get the chance to see this band live, go! i was extremely lucky and got to see them the right of the book 7 release in l.a. made that night all that much better
