Finally, Real Tejas

Near;y 30 years of waiting for the original sound of Tejasis over. The original sound has finally been restored. Whatever madness occurred that caused the original recordings to be digitally manipulated into something resembling the "Eliminantor" era sound is gone and the clean, crisp recording sounds more closely resembling a band playing live in your living room is back. Thank you to whomever came to their senses for restoring a masterpiece from the ZZ Top catalog to its original state.


Gibbons in the mid 70s nearly had no peer in the studio. Page got all the credit for "orchestrating guitars" on record, but Gibbons was as good or better than anyone. There's a lot of clean Strat sounds on this. It's a truly incredible record.


They finally released the early albums with the original mixes! Good lord, what took so long. All the cheesy drum effects and echos they plastered onto these albums for the 80s "remasters" are gone. Sounds great. Thanks!
