iTunes Review

With his heavy-lidded delivery, warmly burnished voice, and hotshot guitar work, Keb' Mo' emerged onto the '90s blues scene as an uncanny amalgam of the present and the past. Tracks like the grainy, stripped-down "Love Blues" and "Am I Wrong" evoke the soulful grit of John Lee Hooker. Elsewhere, full-scale productions like the uptempo "Come on in My Kitchen" and heavy-hearted ballad "Don't Try to Explain" glisten with the unmistakable sheen of classic '90s adult-contemporary production while keeping the vocals and guitar dead center.

Incredible

Keb' Mo' has one of the greatest voices in music, period. In my opinion, "Anybody Seen My Girl" is the greatest song ever. "Victims of Comfort" shows how much heart and soul he puts into his music. You have to experience this guy's music. There's no one quite like him.

A true American masterpiece

One of the most refreshing albums in recent years, this takes you back to the old blues era of the '50s and '60s.Nostalgia-filled, and definitely worth the buy. I've enjoyed this album since I first purchased the CD several years ago...see for yourself.

Keb' Mo'

I came across this album as I was browsing through a store. By the second song, She Just Wants to Dance, I asked the store keeper who was that soulful voice. I fell in love with this voice and this album. This album will put you in the mood and is a great listen if you enjoy the Blues. Some of the best Blues I've heard in a long time. Best are: She Just Wants to Dance, Anybody Seen My Girl, Dirty Low Down and Bad and Love Blues. Buy this album, you'll have no regrets. Simply Wonderful!.
