iTunes Review

On the stunning debut of from Fossil Collective, the Leeds-based duo of David Fendick and Jonny Hooker push beyond the familiar terrain of dream-folk contemporaries like Bon Iver and Fleet Foxes and weave in influences from ’70s soft rock staples like CSNY, America, and Poco. Seductive vocal harmonies, warm acoustic guitars, and fundamentally solid songwriting are hallmarks of every track on this Editors’ Choice, from the strumming minor-key heartbreakers like “Brother” and “Let It Go,” to the backbeat-driven folk rock of “Wolves” and “When Frank Became An Orb”.

This is album is unbelievable! It gets better with each listen. It's great for a night ride, a relaxing walk outside enjoying nature, a rainy day. I wanna say I can't wait to hear more, but I'm in no rush, as I'm perfectly content enjoying this record over and over again.

Great Album
