Grab a slice of some phenomenal death metal!!

One of the greatest death metal albums that i have ever come across. Every member totally tears it up on this disc! Steve Rowe's bass playing is audible and not buried in the mix, which is great too and his voice sounds awesome. Most of the playing on this disc is pretty simplistic, but it works to great effect. This might be my favorite Mort album, but thats hard to say. Its probably the most solid album that they have put out, but some of my favorite songs are on other albums too. Best songs: Nocturnal, Death Requiem, Eternal Lamentation, and Scrolls. I LOVE the heavy slow riff right after the chorus in scrolls too!

Best of the best!!

Without a doubt I can say that this the best album of Mortification! And also one of the best death metal of all time, whether Christian or secular music. A masterpiece, clashes with big names.
The best band formation, instrumental and vocals-raising!
If you like Death, Trash, Heavy Metal or any style and this. without doubt a mandatory piece of colection!

Who the hell cares what religion it is when it just sounds this good. Amazing oldschool Death Metal album, essential to any DM fan's collection. Favorite songs: Eternal Lamentation and Necromanicide.

Their 1992 follow-up, Scrolls of the Megilloth, garnered...
