The rap trifecta's first collaborative mixtape, Rude Awakening finds Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa sinking their teeth into meaty trap beats from 808 Mafia’s TM88. In the producer's able hands, the superstars are like two kids in a woofer-stacked bounce house, inciting and feeding off other. Juicy adds to his list of instantly memorable hooks while Wiz deflects haters with precision. When they aren’t partying in the VIP (“Medication,” “Da Power”), they're reflecting on motivation (“Bossed Up”) and comparing notes on the dark side of fame (“Hit Me Up”).
