Album Review

Greatest Hits 1990-1995 collects ten Sawyer Brown chart-toppers recorded for Capitol Records, and yes, it does include the slick country-pop band's biggest singles from those years: "Some Girls Do," "Dirt Road," and "Cafe on the Corner." Unfortunately, several key tracks recorded prior to 1990 are missing. So, if you're looking for "Step That Step," "Shakin'," "Betty's Being Bad," "Leona," or "This Missing You Heart of Mine," you won't find them here.

Songs you forgot you remember!

This is a great compliation of some of Sawyer Brown's hits, although there are many more that should be on here. This is one of those bands that if you listen to this album you will be like "Oh yeah I remember that song!" One of the best songs they do is "The Walk"! Mark Miller has so much energy (I highly suggest seeing them live if you ever get a chance. Great show!) that it actually comes through in the songs. Plus his voice is soooo unique! This one would be money well spent!

Classic Country

If you are a die hard country fan, and like Sawyer Brown this is a great mix of their songs at a great price. I also recommend seeing Sawyer Brown in concert they put on an awesome show.

The group originally grew out of country-pop singer Don King's touring band, with guitarist Bobby Randall and drummer Joe Smyth signing on in 1979, and bassist Jim Scholten, keyboardist Gregg "Hobie" Hubbard, and guitarist/future lead singer Mark Miller all arriving in 1980. King stopped...
