Picking up where the first compilation left off, Best of Dorothy Love Coates/Orig. Gospel Harmonettes, Vol. 2 collects 12 of the gospel group's greatest performances from the '50s — including "Jesus Knows It All," "These Are They, " "Every Day Will Be Sunday, " "There's a God Somewhere, " "Just to Behold His Face" and "Am I a Soldier" — making it an excellent complement to its predecessor. The album was later combined with Vol. 1 on a 1991 CD reissue.
