Bang Your Head Against The Stage!

i've listened to all of their Records from Feed the Beast to here. I have to say, this is by far their best album! Best Nuclear Assault cover as well! keep going strong!

Excellent Music and Sound Quality, Terrible Vocals

The sound quality on this album is phenomenal. No distortion, no clipping, audible bass, intricate guitars, clear, defined drums. Seriously, this is what the original thrash bands should be sounding like on disc instead of crackly crap like what Rick Rubin does.

Anyway, the songs are really good, but the vocals ruin it. This band has never been that great in the vocal department anyway, but the original guy was more tolerable. It seems like the new singer was going for the incompetent 'Paul Baloff' style or something.

The songs are easier to digest than the two previous albums, where they often sounded the same in certain parts. Each song is distinguishable, but not stripped down or simplified which is a great plus. Definitely worth it for fans of the band or anyone who loves thrash.

ehhh

After the Exiled to Earth album I was seriously questioning this band. After listening to this album I can say that it is a step in the right direction. The guitarwork, and drumming sounds better, but I still can't get into the vocals. If the vocals changed to the way Jose did them in the feed the beast album I would give them a 5, but for now I have it pegged at a 3. Give it a chance you may like it, but for me the vocals just arn't there. (reminds me of Pitiful Riegn Vocalist).

Then again, everyone was doing it just then (circa 2005), and although the band's style lacked any trace of originality, the moshing mayhem churned out by vocalist Jose "Aladdin" Barrales, guitarists Alex Lee and Juan Juarez, bassist Ruben Dominguez (later replaced...
